Abstract

Randai is a traditional Minangkabau performing art involving dance, music, and theatrical drama. Apart from being an integral part of Minangkabau culture, Randai also has the potential to be a rich source of educational value. This article aims to explain the elements of Randai art as well as its educational value and the importance of maintaining this cultural heritage as a learning asset. This method uses observation and interview techniques in a qualitative approach. The educational values ​​in question are the value of togetherness, the value of discipline, the value of creativity, the value of courage, the value of morality, the value of respecting culture, and the value of empathy
