Amanat Cerita Rakyat ‘Nyamuk Penasaran’ menurut Interpretasi Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Terpadu

This article aims to describe: 1) the main message of the folk tale 'The Curious Mosquito' according to students' choices in integrated learning; 2) whether or not the main message of the folk tale 'The Curious Mosquito' is the same according to students' choice in integrated learning per sample group; 3) the message supporting the folklore 'The Curious Mosquito' according to student choice in integrated learning; 4) whether or not the message supports the folk tale 'The Curious Mosquito' according to student choice in integrated learning per sample group. The research was carried out at SMP Negeri 20 Batam in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research population was grade 8 students of SMP Negeri 20 Batam who took part in integrated learning based on folklore appreciation for aspects of the mandate. They numbered 97 students. This number is divided into: 33 class 7a students, 33 class 7b students, and 31 class 7c students. The sample was determined at 79, divided into 27 class 7a students, 27 class 7b students, and 25 class 7c students. The main instrument of this research is a questionnaire containing 5 closed rating scales. Another instrument for this research is a checklist which is useful for validating data and the results of data analysis. The integrated learning tool is the folklore text 'The Curious Mosquito' which is accompanied by interpretive teaching and learning instructions. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics through the principles of percent and mode. Research results: 1) the main message of the folk tale 'The Curious Mosquito' according to students' choice in integrated learning is that children should help their parents with their work; 2) there are differences in the main message of the folk tale 'The Curious Mosquito' according to students' choices in integrated learning per sample group; 3) the message supporting the folklore 'The Curious Mosquito' according to students' choice in integrated learning is that we should be able to defend ourselves if we are attacked by other people; 4) there are differences in the message supporting the folk tale 'The Curious Mosquito' according to students' choices in integrated learning per sample group.
