Pemakaian Nama Geografi sebagai Nama Wilayah Administrasi se-Kabupaten Mempawah dan Potensi sebagai Bahan Ajar Terpadu

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe: 1) to describe the geographical names that are the names of administrative areas throughout Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Second, to describe the opportunity for geographical names to become the names of administrative areas throughout Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan Province as integrated teaching materials in elementary/MI. This research will take place in the odd semester 2023/2024. This research uses library methods; The main sources of data are Indonesian Wikipedia, Mempawah Regency in Figures 2022, and West Kalimantan Province in Figures 2022. To collect data, documentation instruments, observation guidelines and questionnaires were used. Any data that has been collected and/or analyzed is validated using time triangulation techniques. Research results: 1) the number of villages/sub-districts was 67; as many as 32 villages/sub-districts (47.76 percent) use geographic names; the number of sub-districts is 9; only one sub-district (11.11 percent) uses geographic names. Overall there are 33 of the 76 names of villages/kelurahan and sub-districts or 43.42 percent; 2) the opportunity for research results to be used as alternative teaching material in LKPD units; for class 4, learning about the names of administrative regions using copying assignment techniques; for class 5, learning uses test techniques, namely short text and short answer techniques; for class 6, learning uses implied indicator test techniques, namely the main idea, supporting ideas and sentence indicators.
