This study aims to describe: 1) motivation to learn dance; 2) results of learning aspects of dance art knowledge; 3) results of learning aspects of dance art skills; 4) the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes aspects of dance art knowledge; 5) the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in aspects of dance skills; 6) the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect of dance art with the learning outcomes in the dance art skills aspect. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 21 Satap Teluk Bintan which took place at the beginning of the even semester of 2022/2023. The population of this study was 40 grade 7 students of SMP Negeri 21 Satap Teluk Bintan who were divided into 2 parallel classes with the same number. The sample consisted of 38 students drawn randomly from the population group. To collect data on motivation to learn, a non-test instrument, namely a questionnaire, was used and for data on learning outcomes a test technique was used, namely a multiple-choice test about knowledge of dance art and a performance test for dance skills. The research data were analyzed using statistical procedures, namely the mean and percent as well as simple correlation and multiple correlation r tests. The results of the study show that: 1) the motivation to learn dance is in the moderate category; 2) the mean learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect of dance reach lowlimit completeness criteria 65.00; 3) the mean learning outcomes in the aspect of dance skills reached lowlimit completeness criteria 65.00; 4) the degree of relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect of dance art is 0.29; 5) the degree of relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in aspects of dance art skills is 0.44; 6) the degree of relationship between dance learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect and dance learning outcomes in the skill aspect is 0.48.
